The third of my visits with “Ferdinand” the Minotaur under his favorite tree. He is having a peach, one of several his sister Ariadne has brought him, along with her boyfriend Dionysus. A whimsical view of mythological figures. The Minotaur combines an old world figure with a buffalo from the New World. (This painting is one of my personal favorites.) It has been exhibited more than once in Maryland and in New Mexico.
