Athena’s chief priestess Medusa, presented in a new way: while in the hold of a trance. This depiction was inspired by Buddhist depictions of priests, lamas, and other holy people.
She has been displayed in public during my solo art show at Otero Arts building in May of 2023.
36″ x 36″, oil on canvas.
The canvas arrived with minor damage when I purchased it in bulk from Blick. It has a small patch on the back, hidden behind one of the cobras.
